Profile
Russell Duke, Ph.D., began his career by teaching Bible and music at the high school level for four years. He then became a pastor to a congregation in Topeka, Kansas, before working in church administration for the Worldwide Church of God (WCG). After pastoring in Missouri for six years, Russell moved to the university classroom, teaching music, communication, and theology courses at Azusa Pacific University. He has coordinated an educational center for youth of the WCG, taught an array of general studies courses, served on the General Studies Council, and is currently the acting dean of APU's School of Theology.
