Profile
Melinda Dicken, MSN, RN, CNS, is a strong clinician with nearly 20 years of experience in the nursing care of the adult patient across the lifespan in the acute care setting. She utilizes evidence-based practice guidelines, strong interpersonal skills, and a well-developed knowledge base in order to model excellent nursing care. Her strong clinical background facilitates the integration of knowledge for students between the theoretical and practical settings. Dicken is committed to student learning that creates nursing excellence. Her teaching approach not only lays the foundation for future learning, but can be utilized in real-life patient encounters that will serve to further increase knowledge and the application of learning.
