School of Nursing Launches Alumni Association
August 12, 2008

Attention APU Nursing Alumni: The School of Nursing is relaunching the APU Nursing Alumni Association.

Join us on October 24, during APU’s Homecoming Weekend, for a kick-off dinner. Reconnect with fellow alumni and hear updates about the school from faculty and guests.

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a tour of the School of Nursing, Skills Lab, and new Science Center, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. in Heritage Court on West Campus. Tickets are $25 per person.

Yolanda Nunn Gorman, Ph.D., president and chief executive officer of Brilliance Strategies, Inc. and former UCLA Alumni Association president, will serve as the guest keynote speaker for the event. During her career, Gorman has assisted private foundations, school districts, universities, and community and faith-based organizations with board development, strategic planning, resource development, and research and evaluation.

RSVP by October 17 to Renee Pozza at (626) 815-5403 or rpozza@apu.edu.
