Featuring the 47-piece Lake Avenue Chamber Symphony, the program includes original arrangements by The Los Angeles Collaboration, Poulenc's "Concerto in D Minor for Two Piano and Orchestra," and "Five Variants of 'Dives and Lazarus'" by Vaughan Williams.

This concert features APU Ensemble in Residence, The Los Angeles Collaboration, members of the APU Symphony Orchestra, and is conducted by APU Faculty Member, Mr. John Sutton. Azusa Pacific University is pleased to partner with Lake Avenue Church to make this concert possible, and we warmly welcome special guest Dr. Sunghae Kim from South Korea.

Dr. Kim studied piano at Ehwa University in Seoul before earning a Master of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music in New York. In 1999 she recorded her first CD with Paul Badura-Skoda and the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra Moscow. Dr. Kim is also President of Hansei University, a private college committed to th eintegration of academics and Chirstian values. She is the wife of Reverend Dr. David Yonggi Cho, Senior Pastor and founder of the Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, the largest church in the world.
