APU Art Exhibit: Lucidity
November 8, 2006
AZUSA, Calif. –
On Tues., Nov. 21, at 6 p.m., Downey, Calif. resident and Azusa Pacific University art major Jamie Coulson hosts a reception for her art show, Lucidity. Coulson’s art show contains 24 digital color underwater photographs.
Coulson draws her inspiration from water and trips to the beach. “I have always been inspired by the versatility and beauty of water, which is why I bought an underwater camera this past June. Upon experimenting with it in different places, such as the beach and in swimming pools, I have created different types of photos for the art show.”
Coulson’s show runs from Nov. 20-Dec. 1, in the Main Gallery, located on APU’s West Campus at 701 E. Foothill Blvd. A reception takes place Nov.21 from 6-8 p.m.
