Student Art Exhibit: Beneath the Facade

AZUSA, Calif. –
Sunland, Calif. resident and Azusa Pacific University student Carmen Smith hosts a reception for her art exhibit, Beneath the Façade, on Nov. 20, from 6-9 p.m. Smith’s art show contains 20 pieces of framed photography.
Smith has worked with photography for two years, while taking four semesters of university courses in photography and design. Personal experience and a desire to create a reaction to photography and emotions inspired her upcoming show. She also draws insight for her photography from the enjoyment and escape that comes through creative expression.
Smith’s show runs from Nov. 20-Dec. 1, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. in APU’s Darling Hall, located on West Campus at 701 E. Foothill Blvd.
