The Student Health Center provides many services to the APU community, including the following:

Blood tests, titers, and cultures
Medications and prescriptions
Immunizations
Nutrition counseling
Pap smear
Physical exams: General, Nursing, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, and Walkabout
Pre-marital consultation
Referrals to specialists
Sexually-transmitted disease screening and treatment
Sleep issues
Smoking cessation
Sports injuries
Stress support
Substance abuse support
Travel vaccinations
Treatment of anxiety and depression
Treatment of minor illnesses

Fees

The Student Health Center is pleased to be able to offer low costs to students for its services. The following information lists fees for the center's most widely-used services.

Office Visit:

Undergraduate – no charge
Graduate with insurance – no charge
Graduate without insurance – $15

Physical Exams:

Athletic physicals – no charge
All other physicals – $10

Pap smears – $45

Wart removal – $20

Biopsy and suturing – price varies

TB skin tests – $10

Lab tests – varies by specific tests; minimal charge

Immunizations:

Hepatitis A – $65 each
Hepatitis B – $60 each
Influenza – $20
Meningitis – $95
MMR – $40
Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (Tdap) – $40
