The Student Health Center provides many services to the APU community, including the following:

  • Blood tests, titers, and cultures
  • Medications and prescriptions
  • Immunizations
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Pap smear
  • Physical exams: General, Nursing, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, and Walkabout
  • Pre-marital consultation
  • Referrals to specialists
  • Sexually-transmitted disease screening and treatment
  • Sleep issues
  • Smoking cessation
  • Sports injuries
  • Stress support
  • Substance abuse support
  • Travel vaccinations
  • Treatment of anxiety and depression
  • Treatment of minor illnesses
  • Treatment of minor injuries
  • Wart removal
  • Weight management
  • Women's health

Fees

The Student Health Center is pleased to be able to offer low costs to students for its services. The following information lists fees for the center's most widely-used services.

Office Visit:

Undergraduate – no charge
Graduate with insurance – no charge
Graduate without insurance – $15

Physical Exams:

Athletic physicals – no charge
All other physicals – $10

Pap smears – $45

Wart removal – $20

Biopsy and suturing – price varies

TB skin tests – $10

Lab tests – varies by specific tests; minimal charge

Immunizations:

Hepatitis A – $65 each
Hepatitis B – $60 each
Influenza – $20
Meningitis – $95
MMR – $40
Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (Tdap) – $40
