About the Fitness Center

The Fitness Center is a place where students and faculty may go to workout. The Fitness Center has several stationary bikes and treadmills as well as a complete circuit of Keiser strength equipment, elliptical cross trainer machines, and stair climber machines. Students and faculty need to attend a mandatory Fitness Center orientation beginning joining the center.

Prior to your first exercise session, you will be asked to complete a preparticipation screening questionnaire. This questionnaire helps us identify high-risk individuals who may have medical limitations concerning exercise. If you are identified as a high-risk participant, you will be asked to contact your personal physician to receive a medical evaluation and clearance before starting an exercise program.
