Profile
Michael Block, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the School of Education and has more than 20 years of experience in public education as a counselor and business teacher. He has held many leadership positions in education in such areas as school counseling, career development, and curriculum planning. Much of Block's research and practice has included working with students who are at-risk. Block has been successful in producing numerous innovative strategies for increasing motivation and self-responsibility in students. He is a private consultant for educators and counselors and has presented in many workshops across the United States.
