Profile
Gregory Kaiser’s, Ph.D., primary professional interest is helping teacher education credential candidates learn the essentials of science literacy, including expanding their knowledge of the key concepts and principles of science, science skills, and science content typically taught in kindergarten through grade eight. As a former elementary school teacher and public school district science mentor teacher, he enjoys helping beginning teachers increase their teaching effectiveness with a particular focus on lesson design, content standards, models of teaching, and student assessment informing instruction. His current research project examines the impact of a formal professional development relationship between Azusa Pacific University and a local public school on student achievement.
