Chromatic nonharmonic tones, chromatically altered chords, harmonic texture, 9^th, 11^th, and 13^th chords, modal harmony, and exercises in analysis are studied. Concurrent enrollment in MUS 222 Practical Musicianship IV is recommended. Prerequisite: MUS 221
