Profile
Curtis Hsia, Ph.D., joined APU's psychology department in 2002. His research areas include multicultural psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy and multicultural issues. Some of his current research examines cultural differences in the treatment of anxiety disorders, the treatment of acrophobia using virtual reality, and commonalities in anxiety disorders across cultures. Hsia currently teaches a number of courses including advanced research practicum, statistics, and cross-cultural psychology. He is vested in having undergraduate students as an integral part of his research and challenges his students to apply what they have learned in the classroom to their lives.
