Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Communication Studies offers the following undergraduate programs:

Bachelor's Degrees
Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies

Students discover and utilize appropriate communication skills for solving problems, making decisions, and managing conflict through organizational communication, interpersonal communication, rhetoric and public address, news writing and reporting, and public relations.

Bachelor of Arts in Journalism

The journalism major offers an in-depth study of journalism and mass communication, giving practical experience in writing, reporting, editing, and publication production and management.
