Director of Enrollment, Recruiting, and Retention, Adjunct Professor
Center for Adult and Professional Studies
Profile
Robert L. “Doc” Waltz, Ed.D., brings more than 25 years of dual-career experience in business leadership, workplace learning, and organizational effectiveness to the Center for Adult and Professional Studies. His business leadership expertise in the areas of project management and marketing brought increased opportunities to lead strategic initiatives with a diverse group of organizations, including the U.S. Army’s Communications - Electronics Command (CECOM), the Boeing Company, British Airways, Microsoft, and Cal Tech. Because of his growing involvement in workplace learning and organizational effectiveness, he designed and implemented a career development and education planning program, including an informal "Lunch and Learn" program for Rockwell Collins Passenger Systems in Pomona, California. He has successfully transferred his leadership experience and his passion for career development into his current role as the Director of Enrollment, Recruiting, and Retention and adjunct professor for the Center for Adult and Professional Studies, and as an adjunct professor for the School of Business and Management.
