Profile
Gordon Jorgenson III, M.A.Ed., came to Azusa Pacific University after serving for 15 years in public education as both a classroom teacher and a school site administrator. Jorgenson's experiences give him conceptual and practical knowledge and insight into the preparation of prospective teachers enrolled in the Human Development Program. He has experience in forming instructional programs and practices centered on standards-based instruction as well as many topics in the area of staff development. Jorgenson also assisted with the implementation of professional learning communities at the middle school level in Baldwin Park Unified. He also helped facilitate the Recycling Old Computers for Kids (R.O.C.K.) Program at Olive Middle School where over 800 recycled computers have been given to students and families in the community.
