Profile
Cathy Heffernan, Ph.D., began her career in teaching junior high school English, Spanish, and adult ESL. After receiving her master’s degree in educational technology, she joined the faculty of Azusa Pacific University as the director of the Educational Technology Program, a position she held for four years. During her 10 years as curriculum specialist in the Center for Adult and Professional Studies, she has functioned as lead specialist on the human development (liberal studies), applied management, management and computer information systems, Christian leadership, and nursing baccalaureate programs. Heffernan has presented professionally at national and regional conferences in the areas of curriculum design, adult education, instructional technology, and faith integration.
