About the Department

The Department of Doctoral Higher Education offers doctoral programs in a cohort model, with courses offered twice yearly for two weeks in January and two weeks in July. Students are admitted once a year in July as part of a cohort of 15-20 working professionals in higher education.

The department provides two programs: a Ph.D. in Higher Education and an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership. Each program assists students in identifying and developing personal and professional competencies that enable them to contribute more effectively to all areas of their lives.
