Coach Gary Knecht has been involved in coaching and teaching at APU for nine years now. Prior to his experience at APU he taught and coached for more than 40 years at the high school, junior college, and four-year college level. He held positions such as physical education department chair and athletic director. He is currently an associate professor for the Department of Physical Education at APU.
