Profile
Cynthia McKnight, Ph.D., has been involved in athletic training for more than 20 years, and athletic training education for more than 15. In that time, she has taught in colleges and universities ranging in size from 800 to 20,000 students, and worked in sports medicine clinics and high schools. Her personal love of learning motivates her to help students learn and grow academically, and as individuals. McKnight dynamically develops athletic training education curricula for undergraduate programs and is active as a consultant and site-visitor for programs moving toward national accreditation. She is also a reviewer for the Journal of Athletic Training and for grants proposals presented to the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Research and Education Foundation.
