The Cougar Athletics Association (CAA) plays a vital part in the success of Azusa Pacific Athletics. The contributions of the CAA have made it possible to provide additional scholarship help to many of our athletes who are in need. As school costs increase, it becomes more evident that to continue to compete at a high level, we must provide our coaches with the resources to help our student athletes.
Cougar Athletics completed another successful school year by capturing their third consecutive Directors’ Cup. This award is emblematic of the best overall sports program in the nation. Our athletes also won the Golden State Athletics Conference All Sports Trophy for the twelfth time in a row. Our teams continue to work within the greater Azusa-Glendora area with young sports teams teaching both sports skills and character.
I hope you are proud of our athletes, their accomplishments, growth, and
contributions to our community. I look forward to this coming year and ask for
your prayers and support during this time. The Athletics Department will continue
to strive to be a light within the APU community. Please help us by joining our
