No. 26 – Tito Spilsbury

THIS YEAR: Energetic and athletic, sophomore Tito Spilsbury is expected to vie for significant playing time in the Cougar secondary and on special teams.
2007: Made his first collegiate appearance in the Cougars’ win over Southern Nazarene, deflecting a pass in the process.
2006: Redshirted his first season at Azusa Pacific, attending classes while working out with the team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played 2 seasons of varsity football for head coach Marty Martin at Village Christian High in Sun Valley, Calif. ... Named All-CIF and All-Olympic League first team after leading the Crusaders with 33 receptions for 594 yards (18.0 avg.) and 6 TDs ... Also rushed for 121 yards on just 9 carries (13.4 avg.) ... Best game came in a loss to Valley Christian, registering a career-high 9 catches for 129 yards ... Recorded an 86-yard TD reception in a victory over Kilpatrick ... Also averaged nearly 14 yards on 4 punt returns ... As a 2004 junior, earned his first-ever All-Olympic League recognition after leading the Crusaders with 21 catches and 476 yards (22.7 avg.) with 3 TDs ... Also earned 2 varsity letters in basketball (guard) and 2 in track & field (sprinter) ... Named Village Christian’s Male Athlete of the Year as a junior and senior.
