THIS YEAR: Another in a long line of returning offensive linemen, senior Jonathan Klish is a smart and experienced player who gives the Cougars great depth along the front ... Should be a key in the Cougar scheme.

2007: Appeared in all 11 of the Cougars' games during his 2007 junior season ... Started 3 contests ... Played center and guard.

2006: Sat out the 2006 season with an injury.

2005:  Made his collegiate debut as a 2005 redshirt freshman, appearing in 1 game off the bench, late in the season vs. Eastern Oregon. 

2004:  Redshirted his first season at Azusa Pacific. 

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 3 seasons of varsity football at Denver (Colo.) Lutheran High for head coach Loren Larrabbe ... Played on both sides of the line and served as team captain his final 2 seasons ... Earned All-Metro League as an offensive lineman during his 2003 senior season and as a defensive lineman during his 2002 junior campaign ... Tallied 46 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, including 6 sacks and blocked a punt during his senior season as a defensive end... Also played 2 seasons of varsity basketball (center) ... Awarded the Warrior of the Light his junior and senior years, exemplifying the best Christian character on the team. 

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 28, 1986, to David (civil engineer technician) and Marjorie (senior case technician) Klish in Denver, Colo. ... Has a brother (Chris) and a sister (Stephanie) ... Majoring in Biblical Studies ... Enjoys camping, backpacking ... Has taken mission trips to India and Mexico.
