APU Hosts Shauna Niequist, Author of Cold Tangerines February 14, 2008 APU welcomes Shauna Niequist, author of Cold Tangerines, to the Azusa campus on Wednesday, February 20, to share her thoughts on the awareness of God. At 7 p.m. in Munson Chapel on East Campus, Niequist will offer a synopsis of her first book, Cold Tangerines, a collection of essays that celebrate the extraordinary moments found in our everyday lives. It offers bright and varied glimpses of hope and redemption. Niequist grew up in the Chicago area before attending Westmont College in Santa Barbara to study English and French Literature. Currently, she lives in Grand Rapids, MI with her husband Aaron and son Henry. Aside from writing, she has worked in student ministries at Willow Creek for five years and as the creative director at Mars Hill in Michigan for three.
