The on-campus community at Azusa Pacific is alive and thriving. APU’s online community is just as alive. Below are a few Facebook groups and pages for you to check out and see what kind of community you will be a part of. Feel free to join a group or return often to stay current with APU.

Blackout Blackout represents the APU’s cheering section at NAIA athletic events. People gather wearing the signature “Blackout” T-shirt or black shirts of any kind, and cheer the Azusa Pacific Cougars to victory! Check out this group to stay updated on the next Cougar sporting event.
South Africa Spring 2008 Launched in Fall 2007, the South Africa Semester lets 35 APU students study in both urban and rural settings, engaging the communities in which they live.
APU High Sierra Spring 2008 Spending a semester in California's Sierra Nevada mountains, studying the great works of literature, art, theology, and more--how awesome is that?
APU Outdoor Adventure For those interested in the outdoors, this is your group. Outdoor Adventures, an organization at APU, hosts event throughout the year. Check out this group to see when the next trip departs!
APASO APASO, which stands for Asian Pacific American Student Organization, strives to create a community at APU for those interested in Asian American issues. This group meets every other week throughout the year to engage in discussion. Check out their page to find out when their next meeting is!
Run to the Horizon Run to the Horizon, based out of the city of Azusa, is a project led by college students devoted to raising scholarship funds for Horizon International and the AIDS orphans they support. A number of runners are training to run the Los Angeles Marathon March 2, 2008 to help raise funds for this cause. Check out this group to see how you can be involved!
APU Psychology Majors Unite! This group is created for psychology majors or minors at APU to provide a forum for discussion on teachers, classes, and events. Be sure to check it out to get plugged in!
